ok im not sure about this are allthe b16 heads universail distributor wise for instance if it were a b16 head and a2 distributor would it work ...thanks for the help

 

your better off wireing a odb-1 vtec distributor then a odb-2 if your planing on useing it in your pre-odb car i am using the 94 integra vtec Gsr distributor in my civic hatchback Just cut and splice all wires correct and it will work but it has to be a Vtec distributor and its alot better to buy new if thats why your asking this question cause you dont want a used 1st gen b16a1 Jdm distributor but yes it can be done

 

my car is a 92 hatch so its not pre obd the motor is a 98 ls and the head is a b16a so i think in need an obd 1 distributor because wouldnt that plug into my car? thanks and i need some info on the crank girdel the whole gsr thingie this is my first ls vtec on my own so any help would i would be greatful for....things i need b16 obd1 distributor vtec oil pump vtec water pump and a p28 for my hondata and things to do and not to do would be nice thanks

 

yes just buy a odb1 vtec distributor

 

you know anyone trying to come off one for a good price

 

i would say go on ebay or only buy new well remanf.
