tranny swap???
well here is the deal I have the stock D16z6 in my civic EX and am very happy with it now as far as the tranny go's I have the typical 3rd gear grind at 5k+rpm I have a center force 2 clutch in it and love it but I do need to do somthing about the tranny befor it gets to bad now what i want is more power from the gearing and a good top end Im not a tranny expert so bare with me...I want a stronger tranny than what the z6 has stock ie:syncro's
so what Im looking for in a nut shell is:
more power
better top end
and stronger syncro's
and that I can use my CF 2 clutch
so if you have any good ideas or things that have workd for you let me know

Get rid of that clutch. It will explode inside your tranny and URFUCT. My Dual Friction (recently removed) was about 2k miles from implosion. It would've been messy, and expensive.
As for your tranny, D series SUCK. Ive been through about 5 of them. Although, for the best gearing, you will want from from the hatch Si, they have same 1-4 as yours, but 5th is slightly shorter.
Invest in a clutchmasters or custom clutch from Baycity Clutch.

well as far as the clutch I have always used CF and no prob's but hey that can be just my luck LOL!! but a Si hatch...hmmm sounds iteresting I realy dont want to do a swap I have had swaped ride's befor and Im not looking to run 11's Im just shooting for 14.0 thats all Im running 15.5 right now with full interior and full tank I have yet to run it with anything higher than 93 octain due to my limeted time but do you think the Si hatch tranny would out do a L3 tranny?(jdm D16A1)
