Okay..so we've got the head on and everything is working order...however we used the my stock intake manifold and put it on the EX head and the ECU went nuts throwing my idle all over the place..so we talked a know it all about it and he said that we need to put the EX IM on it...so tommoro w were taking of the DX manifold, puting on the EX manifold and using teh DX throtle body since it bolts right up to it and we don't have n EX throttle body and then we've got some wiring to figure out. I do need help though. I need to know how to hook up the VTEC ? andybody help me with that ? I'll let you all know how it goes.

i heard that from rainforest
if you try to put a d16a1 block or head onto any other block or head you will need to redrill one hole. its approx 2 mm off = not worth it just rob the internals. -Tom-

Just to upadte you guys... w ran into some trouble ith the hoses being run in the wrong part of the engine and I did have oil coming out of my exhuast..oops...but we worked it all out and now ill be wiring the vtec up today. Anybody know why the idle goes from 1500-1700 back and forth ? I haven't let it warm up or anything like that...the guide i ahve says let it do that for 10 minutes while the coolant lines do their thing...is that normal ? Should i worry ? Thanks guys.

before my h22 swap in my eg, i have had DX block with a Y8 head ,Y8 head gasket, P29 piston(from 88-89 integra) . All this went up to 13.1:1 cr
You should leave your radiator cap off while you are WARMING up so it can burp all the air out .Might be air trapped in the IAC valve that giving you the bad idle.
