Default GSR Tranny on B20?

i have a 99 CRV EX with the real time all wheel drive... i wanna get rid of the AWD and i have been thinking about removing the driveshafts and running a GSR tranny... what i would like to know is if the GSR tranny will be strong enough to handle the weight of the CRV... i dont wanna put a huge strain on the tranny trying to pull this brick around...

there was an article in super street a while ago, a girl with 18" racing harts and a gsr turbo on her crv, so i assume it will take it.

did you not read my topic? because it is AWD and im going to pull the driveshaft out and when i do that, the pinion flange on the tranny is just going to spin... so why would i keep that tranny? seriously im not too worried about gearing at the moment, i could use an LS tranny for all i care... i just need to know if they can pull the weight of the CRV with no strain...

Why are you wanting to switch out your tranny? Is it just to be different? Does it serve some mystical purpose? Do you just want to become 2wd? WHY!?
no, i wanna stay AWD after i pull the drive shaft out... yes, i wanna go FWD, why else would i be taking the drive shaft out and wanting to use a FWD tranny?

any more ignorant questions for me?

cronic your an ass. its what he wants to do. in the forum he asked if a gsr would be strong enough. he didnt ask you to be a putz and question his idea or thoughts about his set-up. if you dont have an answer for his question, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
