Bought a 01 civic DX a few weeks back and the previous owner explained transmission is messed up, only thing wrong with it is the transmission won't stay in 5th so I've been driving it with no problems, but I would like to have 5th back, what transmissions will bolt up to the D17 that's in the car? Like a 5 speed from a em1 or a crv or something else stupid like that? Everything online to have it rebuilt is like 600 bucks and that's more than half of what I paid for the car so not looking to drop that for a rebuild. Thanks in advance!
