Default stuck in park, need help....

I just finished a jdm b16a auto swap into an auto 93 dx sedan. The car runs, drives and shifts nice but I can't get the shifter out of park without sticking the key into the release slot. Need to get this fixed and I'm not too experienced with auto trannys so any help is appreciated. I plan on checking the brake lights, brake switch and fuses tomorrow, any other ideas?

Well the problem is somewhere in the circuitry of using a civic harness and a b-series automatic ecu. Other people I've talked to who have done auto ls swaps had the same problem . The solution was to simply remove the solenoid that controls the park lock switch at the shifter. The only downside to this is that you can shift out of park without holding the brake down. All other safety features are retained like not being able to shift into reverse from drive etc....

Overall this swap was a PAIN IN THE ASS but I'm glad I did it. I haven't heard of anyone else doing an auto b16a swap before.
