Default GSR swap into ef questions

Hey all ,

Lookin to buy a 89 civic dx from a buddy , and am tryin to clarify some information about B-series swaps into ef's .

First , his ef is already converted from dpfi to mpfi obd0 to obd1 , so what other (if any) wiring work must be done ? I believe he used the stock harness and added a jumper , but I'm not sure .
Second , my gsr swap has a hydro tranny . What half-shaft/axle combination will I need to use ?

I believe that is it ! Everything else associated with the swap is pretty straight forward .

Heres a guide that can help you HERE

For the transmission part, if you want to stick with the hydro trans, youll have to get a cable to hydro conversion. You can see some of your options HERE for that.

use a 90-93 manual teg half shaft and axles or you can use the 94+ teg half shaft and axles, just match them up and you are good to go.

You may have to wire in vtec, knock sensor, 4 wire o2, and secondary butterflies depending on how the previous wiring was done and what ecu you will be running.
