how to tell if my ecu is bad???? my cel light wont shut off and i cant check thecodes
my cel used to shut off after 2 seconds with the key on. now the light is on all the time and when i tried to jump the wires to check the codes on the dashboard nothing happend just stayed solid
how can i check my ecu to see if it shit out?

almost like my problem, im still working on it though.. occasionally, when i turn the key forward the pump doesnt prime and the cel light stays on.. car will crank but wont turn over... i turn the key off turn it back on a few times and then the pump primes and the cel goes out.. other then that occasionally, I dont have a cel on..

yeah that happened to me, if you do the paperclip trick and the CEL stays solid. thats a code 0 meaning a fried ECU!! just swapped it to a P30 and its all good
