90 Civic Throttle issues HELP
A little bit ago my AC compressor went out. I was using my secondary fan as a cooling fan for my engine because the first one doesn't regulate it very well. Now that I don't have that second fan it heats up fast and one day a simple 2 mile trip to the bank ended in my car SLIGHTLY smoking from the block. I was driving it around today, nothing wrong with heat, no mods to fan, and I start to lose throttle when I'm barely pushing on the pedal. It got to a point where it took maybe 2 seconds for it to kick back in after letting off and pushing again. Any ideas? I'm going to replace the thermostat soon, and hope that helps the heat issue. Could it be my throttle cable sticking?
