Welded Mounts
I dont know anything about mounts or what welded mounts exsactly mean. I have a bmotor installed into a 88 hatchback. I was told that they were welded. Can someone tell me if welded mounts can be reused?

Well I should just get a new mount kit. Are there any other companies that sell them for less the $480. That would be with shipping Iam est. it at. Hasoport sells them for like $450.

On a crx with a b-series swap the upper tranny bracket is chisseled away and rewelded in a different position. The stock 90-93 teg mounts are used. If you switch to a mount kit you will need to chissel that bracket off again and reweld it in the stock position for the mount kit to work. A mount kit is definitely the way to go but in your case you have to make sure during the last weld in job the chassis isn't too messed up from the chisseling. I think you could buy another spot weld bracket from Honda but I'm not sure. You might be best off keeping the weld-in setup since it is already done. And yes the mounts can be reused if they are in good shape.
