anyone know trick to remove inner race from hub assembly with no press???

Default anyone know trick to remove inner race from hub assembly with no press???

im not tryin to wait untill monday till a machine shop opens i cant get the inner race out of the hub to install the new bearing. they changed how the bearing is so its one piece now and the inner race has to be removed but it wont budge at all. am i fucked till i can get to a press?

When i did my rear, i had to get a metal saw to cut through it. Mine was stuck on there, and once i hit the right point, i was able to wedge it out with a screwdriver/ small pry bar. Just be careful if you cut it though, i accidentally went a little bit into my axle when i did mine, the race is a lot thinner then it looks.

i got that part off but where the new bearing goes into the hub theres like a little lip inside i thought it shoulda came out when i got the old bearing out but the bearing broke to hell cuz i didnt use a press i just beat it out with a socket and hammer and they broke apart

Yeah, i've had to take mine to a shop to get the front done, since i have no access to a press or anything.

and my fucking mini sledge broke to which dont help i have no good hammer gottta go buy one. ima just take it to a shop on monday or tuesday fuck it my arm and back are hurting from bangin that shit

i use a press to re-install the new bearing. But i use a hammer to take the old on out just as you said. Cut off wheel to cut the race off the hub.

Bring it to me and ill finish it for you.

im taking it to this goodyear full service shop they gunna do it for like 49 dollars its rape but i need my car back
its the closest place to my house
