Default 99 EK with 01 b18b Help

Hey TR, I have a CEL on due to a BARO sensor. I assumed that this was a MAP sensor but I replaced the map sensor the other day before I found this out. I did some research and seen that the BARO sensor could mean a bad ECU? Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

*UPDATE* I checked the codes because sometimes my car drops idle down to ~300 rpms and when I leave from a light it feels like there is a major power loss in the lower RPM's. Also when I'm cruising (doesn't matter which speed or RPM) it feels like something is cutting and injector out unless I give it full throttle..feels kind of like someone is pulling the E-brake and letting it down...my car has a new MAP sensor, TPS, coolant temp sensor (the one under the distributor) Would the temp sensor on the thermostat housing cause any of these problems? That's the only thing I re-wired before this weird problem started happening...

Pretty sure that is your problem. ECT is a thermistor which changes resistance depending on coolant temp. This info is fed to the ECU which adjusts fuel and timing depending on how Hot or Cold engine is. After you recheck wiring and sensor, make sure to properly bleed air out of system.
Then I would check the Coolant Temperature (TW) Sensor. That would be the next most likely cause. The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located next to the distributor housing. To test it, unplug the TW and measure the resistance between the two terminals. Then compare your reading to the chart. If it out of specification, replace it.

^Thank you! I had a bogging issue before and replaced the temp sensor by the distributor and it fixed it so that one is brand new so that can't be the one doing it. Would the one on my thermostat housing cause any sort of bogging? I asked a few Techs at work (I work at the Honda dealer) and they said that the sensor on my thermostat housing only controls the fans and wouldn't cause any sort of bogging.

The CEL is on due to a BARO sensor and I'm going to have my tuner chip a P28 ECU for me because I was told here at the Honda dealer that I will need another ECU due to the BARO sensor being faulty....

The other sensor is just a switch and turns the fan on. Has nothing to do with problem.
You said you rewired the one temp sensor, check that wiring for a Open.
With the baro code in and your problem, I would be looking at the MAP wiring, like TPS and Map plugs switched.
Honda always says replace ECU if baro code is in because they don't open and solder inside ECU's which is where the sensor is. I bet we have members on here who could fix your ECU once you fix the other issue. The baro sensor makes sure your car runs the same in Louisiana as in Colorado.

Well I'm getting a P28 ecu chipped and tuned for my motor to get rid of the BARO code and because I've wanted one anyways. You think that the MAP and TPS plugs could be switched? Because the TPS plug doesn't reach to the MAP sensor and it's been this way since I've had the car and the problem just started a week ago....
