Default help cooling fan running constantly on my civic

my cooling fan was straight wired to come on with the ignition and i figured the relay probably went out so i swapped it out n cut the straight wire then wired the original 2 back together. the fan works now without the separate power wire but it wont turn off not even when i unplug the coolant temp sensor. anyone got any ideas for me?

The radiator fan control module behind the glove compartment is the problem or the fan relay in the underhood fuse block is still bad.
You can swap relays with condenser relay to see if that repairs the problem. Or check if you have this module which is indeed bad. Just my .02

My fans are straight wired also.
I want to be darn sure that fan is pushing air when the motor is running.

I also put in a switch to cut off the fan when I messing under the hood and
don't want the battery to run down.

.....and an indicator light so I know instantly the fan status if I see the
temp gauge rising. I have a stock gauge and an aftermarket gauge so I can tell
more precisely what the temp is.

Part of my startup procedure is to be sure that fan is on.-Bob
