Default Skunk 2 pro ball joints have play in them

So i got a used Skunk 2 pro camber kit for a great deal. Its all in good shape, i removed the balljoint boot and the joint looks fine, but there is play in joint. You can move the ball in the socket up and down. Is that normal. No real play in it other then verticaly. Anyone used them before and noticed that? They look pretty beefy.

A test for an American car is that if you can move the ball joint pin around by hand,
the ball joint is bad. I apply that same standard to my own Honda.

With some ball joint/camber kits, there is a large nut that needs to be tightened
once the ball joint is in.

You might call Skunk2 and see what they recommend. You might have to just
replace the ball joints. Maybe you got a good price for a reason....-Bob
