I tried to clean mine and it didnt work. I also got a new one and cleaned it and it didnt work either. What else could be the problem of a Idle air control malfunction?

Bad throttle body gasket, bad intake gasket, vacuum leak on hoses. Try using the starter fluid method in video and look for leaks. You are resetting ECU each time right?
