Problems with tranny, need help/prices/recomendations

Hey everyone.

I am having issues with my tranmission in my 92 integra, ys1 cable. The 3rd gear has a grind and now I think I am having issues with the differential. Anyone know of anyone who can help with fixing these issues, I just do not want to go buy another one and have the same or worse issues. Possible rebuild, etc?

if you have proper clearance between the synchro ring and 3rd gear you may be able to scuff up third gear and correct your grind issue. the gear cone may be glazed if clearance is in spec. new diff bearings were $50 last time i checked at synchrotech.com. $10 for red scuff pad and rtv sealant. download a helms manual and diy for under $100.
