Default Recomendations for Tranny work.

The second gear syncro has gone on the MR2 I just brought, and seems like third is statring to go. Luckily the syncros themselves are pretty cheap, $56 for both, but I don't have any experience with Toyotas. So if anybody can recommend someone/shop, or if anyone has a tranny they would like to sell, with good gears ect. Please let me know.
By the way the car is great, picked up some wheels from Sergio, thankyou, look forward to possibly meeting a few other MR2 owners.

I have many spare parts for your E-153 tranny. I have enough spare cases to do an exchange. I will exchange out for $300 a unit with new oem toyota synchros. If you want any other parts such as shifter forks, any gears, or bearings the cost will be higher. PM me if you have any other questions.

Sent an email, Thanks.

Yeah I think $6000 is a bit too much for me at the moment!
Sounds very nice though.

Supras have a Getrag 6 speed, and the Mk3s have W58s. Turbo Mk3s have R-154. This all being manual of course.

I am hoping a trans fluid change will help out, do you guys use the Toyota stuff? The reason I ask is that its popular for Honda to put in the GM Syncro fluid.
