Default intermittent starting problem

i have a 93 del sol,d16z6 auto.it runs great, most of the time but every so often it cranks but wont start.battery is good, plugs and wires are new, rotor and cap 6 months old.it has done this for a few years and usually once you crank it 4 or 5 times it starts and runs like everything is fine.this morning i thought i was going to be late for work, cranked it about 20 times and nothing, like its not getting gas,on the last try it fired right up and ran fine.what to check???

Replace or repair main relay. Clean thermostat ground if that doesn't do it, I bet the ignitor in distributor is going.
