Why the bike racks?

I have a rack on my wagon & my hatch.. Oh, and I have tow hitches too..
I carry all sorts of crap, in & on my car.. Wood, Pipes, Surf Boards, Bikes, Kayaks, Canoes.. Anything that doesn't fit in the car.. And, If I don't have my trailer with me, then it goes on the roof. And, it takes so freaking long to take the rack off & put it on again, that I just leave it up there.
Since I sold my truck, I have re-allocated my civic as a Do-Anything & Carry-All mobile..
Guess, I am not one of those people that you are talking of..

Guess you're right to each his own but I was just curious why like them, they look odd. I don't like the odd air force weird look on your bike but to each his own.

Because they like it. Because its what they want and what they think is "cool". It doesnt make the car any faster/slower. It doesnt do anything. Your just singling out one thing. And that would be bike racks.
I think that people with body kits and neon lights look odd, but you dont see me over here making threads about it... But who cares? Its that persons car, not mine.

Why do people put stickers all over there car? Why do people get rims? Why do people get lips, wings, winglets, tail lights smoked or clear?
Because they like it. Because its what they want and what they think is "cool". It doesnt make the car any faster/slower. It doesnt do anything. Your just singling out one thing. And that would be bike racks.
