I have a rack on my wagon & my hatch.. Oh, and I have tow hitches too..
I carry all sorts of crap, in & on my car.. Wood, Pipes, Surf Boards, Bikes, Kayaks, Canoes.. Anything that doesn't fit in the car.. And, If I don't have my trailer with me, then it goes on the roof. And, it takes so freaking long to take the rack off & put it on again, that I just leave it up there.

Since I sold my truck, I have re-allocated my civic as a Do-Anything & Carry-All mobile..

Guess, I am not one of those people that you are talking of..

 

It's for my fixed gear. Or my bmx bike. And it makes my car look goofy as hell and cause people to look at me strangely.

 

if it looks good it looks good. i seen a sexy 4 dr teg jet black with a rack and i woulda done terrible things for it!

 

id rather put a bike inside my hatch than have that lame rack on my whip. and tow hooks are fucking waste of money. and the jdm stickers make me laugh cuz the one the most ppl have means beggining tuner or some shit which is basically telling everyone your a tool.

i also dont get the ppl with the rear fancy colored LCAs riding on some stock ass engine with a beat ass car. you auto xing? NOPE your just a tool who spent 250 dollars on some shit you cant probably notice when driving and you cant even see the thing from the inside of your car.

Yeah, I agree. But it is so much more convenient to just toss the bike up there.

how so? open hatch push seats down in goes bike done in 30 seconds. unless you got like 2-3 bikes then you def need the rack. and if you bike enough to warrant the rack on your car then all the better.

Throw the bike on, clip two straps. I'd have to remove my front wheel to fit my bike inside the car.
