Hey guys.. i have a legit question here. Hope you can help me out.
When you guys are upgrading to bigger brakes or rear discs, where do you find the parts? New or used? Which cars do they come off of? Do you guys install them yourself or bring it to a shop? How much would they charge?
Thanks for any info you can give me.

1st off, The parts can come off of most integras, and some del sols. The parts are easily found in the junkyard. depending on your application, different e-brake caables may be needed. It's not a hard swap, but if you have no tools, it can be a bit hard.
Rear brakes only account for 25-30% or less of your stopping power, the fronts do most of the work. Upgrading the brake booster and master cylinder while also give a much better feel. Going from a 7/8ths to a 1 inch master cylinder is the way to go. Also look for a 40-40 proportioning valve. As far as the comment about upgrading rotors giving you a better stop....I don't nessacarily agree. Slotted and Cross-drilled rotors are not nessacry these days (except under extreme situations). If you would like to have have somebody install brake components for you, PM me....Ihave a friend who specializes in Honda Brake and Suspension setups.
