Bored at work and wondering when a good time to change the timing belt is? I recently purchased my 98 ek and it has 118 original miles on it. 5pd.

I remember manuals would say to change at every 75,000 miles. Remember to change the water pump while you are changing the belt.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Its not that bad if youve ever been in a motor before, I would suggest a hoist and doing out of the car, it may be a lot easier for you. And yes as mentioned above make sur eyou have the right tools
