all motor and if you dotn like it start over and turbo it thats an idea. the only thing is that it will run you a little bit of money if you dotn want to stay all motor. jsut my 2 cents on that.

Okay, I may be wrong, so please correct, it won't hurt my feelings, it was after midnight when he called. My friend was telling me about a B14 (1st Gen Eclipse Turbo) and injectors as a set up along with a intercooler. He claims that that turbo is small and readily available but may need a rebuild if I find a used one.

He also said that a B16A is a high reving engine (he has already played with one and have moved on to a Type R) that to build all motor would be excellent for legal road racing but not to great for drag racing at a track.

He also mentioned using nite (nitrous) as an option but that Turbo would be the best because the B16A is such a well built naturally aspirated engine.

I am soooooo glad my order hasn't arrived yet

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

If you want to go with turbo, I would sugest a Garrett turbo, and not a Mitsu turbo, like the 14b. Garrett has a couple more options down the line, and a T3/T40E will spool much quicker. (the T3/T40b will fit into tighter spaces)

If you decide to go turbo, upgrade your injectors to RC 440cc's and get Hondata along with a decent fuel pump.

Just my $.025
14b's arent too good when compared to anything but a T25. If youre getting a mitsu turbo go 16g or larger. much more efficient
