Default help with overheating problem

ok i got a 99 civic d serie motor , this started on thursday . i had the car running with the ac on , next thing i know i see smoke coming from under the hood , i look a the temp gauge and it dosnt show that its overheating . ii turn off the car and pop the hood. i see coolant all over the tranny and some on the hoses and alil on the fan . then i check the rad to see if there any coolant and there none . i put coolant in turn on car and everything fine .i drove home with no problem no smoke no overheating . next day im driving home from work and i come to a red light and see smoke coming from under the hood again and the temp gauge showing that its overheating this time . so i pull over pop the hood same thing all over again. this time i notice that the upper hose is geting hot like normal but the lower hose , so i figure the thermostat is stuck and making the car over heat . so i change it yesterday turn on car let it run with ac for a while everything good no over heating , i start to drive to the beach nxt thing i know smoke again , coolant over the tranny . i dont know what it could be , i can find any leaks , can some one pls help with some info or if some could come check it out , ill give u a brand new rear bumpe for ek coupe and burn L if u burn
