Bucking and hesitation...

My car runs... barely. I spoke with Taylor from SS, he wont have time until next week to look at the car.
He said there's somethign wierd with the Crower cam (Stage2 turbo) Where the idle isnt steady and it dies. Which is fine. The car doesn't want to go over 4k RPM, it also bucks and hesitates while under load.
What could be my issue? The plugs look like they're getting too much fuel, they're black after only 20 mins of running (parked). the valves sound like they _may_ be tapping. Altho Im not sure.
I need _HELP_ with this. If you can solve my problem or even HELP with what's going on I will pay you.

The timing is +4 advanced. The static pressure is as low as it will go (~50) plugs are black from running rich, but still should be fine, they're brand new. Also, the wires are only 6 months old (MSD) Either the fuel's not getting burned properly, OR the injectors are too large for the ECU to handle properly... Im guessing it's time for a VAFC/SAFC

You are confusing two different things. Cam timing is one thing and ignition timing is a totally seperate thing although, they are related. Sounds like your off a tooth or two on your CAM TIMING. This causes the hesitation and bucking you've described. Line up the white tdc mark on the crank pulley with the marks on the lower belt cover and make sure your cam arrow faces up and the two side ticks each line up with a mark on the upper timing cover. You can fix the ignition timing by just turning your distributor towards the front of the car a little.

Which fmu are you running...If it is a vortech and it has a 12 to 1 disc in it that is your problem..Your going to need a recalibration kit that changes it to a 8 to 1 rising rate. You will also need a vafc or safc if your non vtec...
