im new to the honda game! Can i get some help?
88_hatchy, im sorry but you must have one of those B series that my sis could drop in, not to mention how my post did not contradict it self unless you need to go back to school and learn to read. I did not say i hate twin cams, just b series because their to simple and boring.Have you put a k in a car yet and driven it? Thats fun! I fully build everything i do. Mabey we have a miss communication but for what he wants to do my advice was the best thing he could do if he wants some more horses, and fun while learning about his car. I dont post if i dont know what im doing, because as you know im an ASE master tech and been working on high performance Hondas for 10 plus years. DONT SLAM THREADS IF YOU HAVE DIFFERENT ADVICE OR ARE CONFUSED ABOUT SOMETHING. NEXT TIME KEEP IT POLITE.

You really don't know what you're getting yourself into, chief.

No worries. But let's discuss this...
Even if someone were to dump $8000 into a D series it might make 200 whp. A K swap is about the same amount, all said and done. Why not spend half the money and have a reliable and reasonably quick car with a B swap. Yes, tons of people have a B series in their EF. That's only because it is effective, both in cost and power levels.
P.S. My engine wasn't a drop-in ordeal.
