wiring vtec in ef
just an easy quick question for TR members. when wiring the vtec in an ef, is it nescesary to hook up the knock sensor and 2nd o2? i want to run of the ecu and not a button. its a d15b and a pr3. i have the pin outs and was just wondering because i dont have a knock sensor on the engine nor a 2nd o2.

I would just have my dude Neal Sutton make you a new engine harness and not even worry about it, just let him do the work.

I believe he only charges like $250 or $300 for the complete harness. I bought my engine harness from Rywire for like $650, oh it was worth every fucking peny but damn it's exspensive lol. But you get what you pay for lol.

Sounds like you did a vtec head swap, use a p28 with odo-0 to obd-1conversion harness for ecu, same as dizzy, the new ecu harness will have the four wire 02, as for the knock sensor you can either drill a hole, tap it and insert the knock sensor in the back of the block were it would usually go, which i dont recommend, or get an s300, or you can downgrade but i love my s300, and turn off knock sensor. If you dont do this vtec will not kick in.
