yes, you have to get the correct chip for your ecu, had a buddy get a PR3 chip for his b16 but he had a PW0 ecu and they wouldnt even refund him his money or trade it back... but yea make sure u get the right chip, and be VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL!!!! a static discharge just from touching it could fry the chip, if you can feel the shock you might as well forget it. and you would prolly need to take it somewhere for it to be soldered in, shouldnt be more then 10-20 bux
