Ecu install
does anyone have any experience or know someone who knows how to install a different ecu .....I found a good deal on a p30 chipped ecu for when i do my swap.....and i dont want to buy it if i cant get it installed.

you just plug it in man , three plugs. It will work fine.

The only reason i ask is because the company who makes them say to have a electronics/stereo place install them....I was under the impression that these were not like the stock ecu's....that is the only reason for the question...but i guess i didnt make that clear....can always count on the smartass TR comments....but o well...at least my question got answered...

...are you just gettin the chip? i know some of those ebay people sell just the chip and say take it to a tv shop or something and have them solder in the chip

yes....like i said up there...i didnt word it good....i do believe these are just chips....i found them on groupbuycenter...for 50 bucks....they are from some rice o rama company called TRUmotorsports.....so if it is the chip...there would have to be some sodering to make it work right? and if im getting the p30 chip...i would have to first have a p30 ecu?in that case...ill just forget about it??
