Default Best 215/40/17 tire?..

Hey guys and gals..its about time soon to replace my tires. I have 17x7 wheelsl and would like to stick with a 215/40 series tire if i can..what tires doyou guys recommend? I want a good performance tire and dont care much if my ride gets harsh. Tires i'm looking at so far the the kuhmos, or maybe some yoko paradas? someone also told me about t he nito 555 but i have never rally heard the best about those tires..i would like to keep the price of the tires right around 100 per tire..something like 110 isnt bad..but dont want to get to high..any help would be great. Oh andi was looking at going to maybe 15" wheels and getting some azenis tires..but think i'm going to stick with the 17"s for now..

Stay as far away from Nitto as you can. I will tell you a lovely story about Nitto tires if you PM me. I'd go with the Kumho Ecsta 712s.

i hate the toy proxe FZ4. ive gone through 3 tires in the past year. they find every possible way to pop. ran over a pot hole at 5mph. got a nail half wayup the side wall(the nail was parallel with the ground. dont ask me how it happened cause i was going straight). ans got some random chunk of something right in the middle between the tread. they are great but the compound is to soft to prevent punctures.
