speedo and tach issues on ek
Well i have a 98 ek hatch, the car has a b series in it and full wire tuckd motor harness and interior going to the ecu and is also converted to obd1 at the ecu...well im having issues the rshared_pm and speedometer dont work..changed clusters and changed speed sensors....its killing me to know why its not working does anyone know a scymatic or watever its called maybe to just be able to run a wire to the cluster to make them work or where to look thanks

Problem
The wire bundle from the VSS is shorting out behind the intake manifold. Common problem on 98.

The wiretuck will make it hard to troubleshoot but do the tests and you will find the problem.

Thats why i never do a full tuck, only do my headlight harness... Now good luck getting to it
