b16 or 18 ?
Hey man, lets keep this simple. It sounds like your completely new to this game so lets keep it simple.
Turbo-is high maintanence and can be difficult to understant the tuning of.
Ls/vtec-can also be a nightmare is your not knowledgable.
you dont want everyone else under your hood when you have a problem.
I'am lucky to have really good friends to help me with mine and stuff I dont know.
Like I said keep it simple for now.
B18c1 with a supercharger, wether it be jackson or vortec, with your budget I would go jackson. Not preffered if you want major power, but it will be more than what you need as a beginner.
Mr Self Destruct can vouch for me on this, that impressive power can be made with this setup from a b18c with his tuning, and its exactly how I started out--as a beginner!
-------------B18c1 supercharged, walbro 255l high press pump, 310cc injectors, and a vafc to start with and you will be very happy-----
