my lag is your courtesy head start

ATTENTION.... installing a head gasket, head studs or pistons and rods in your otherwise STOCK engine dose not make it a "built" engine! stop listing you cars for sale saying they are built when its not!!

My money is on the Igniter inside the distributor...they tend to shut the car off once it gets warm and then you have to wait for it to cool down before it will start the car again. I know he said he tried a different distributor but that doesn't mean the other one was good either. These commonly go bad.

says he replaced the dizzy. that doesnt mean he replaced the whole setup. He could have just replaced the housing which would only take care of sensors and not any coil/ ICM issues.

I would try replacing the ICM (ignitor) before moving on to the MFR...WARNING! Stay away from the Autozone/Advanced ones..I had an issue w/ my DA and used one of thiers since the OEM was out of my budget..I replaced it 8x's under the one yr warranty!

It left me stuck that many times and even costed me a few bucks in towing fees!
