i am unedumacated. i was talking to some guy who said that he did some work on the internakls of this engine such as change the rod and other parts in the engine, and he got it running like it was a 1.8L. can you do that? he said he saw a guy in a civic hatch was spanking b16's like it was nothing? if you have any info on that, please pm me. i want to learn more about how you can do this.

 

U can use 1.8l rods in a SOHC ZC motor, They are really old motors tho, I dont think its that impressive if hes only smoking b16's. ive heard of a couple single cam swaps with 190hp on them. Thats pretty much building up the bottom end. They haev ZC DOHC motors, they have something like 130 HP with low compression that would be pretty good to throw on a drag kit and run 8psi and it will be fast. I dunno how much toque it has tho.
