Default compression Question ?

in the middle of my build & im having a the hardest time tryin to find a hi comp 82mm Headgasket so was just gonna run the gasket i have now.

but my main question was Does bore & stroke effect compression ratio's?
My GSR is 82mm bore With 89mm stroke "Ls crank".

Also iv heard of ppl Actually removing a layer from cometic headgaskets? anyone got any input on that? or experience?

DO NOT REMOVE A LAYER,just stick with the one you have now,it will not do anyhting more with a thinner Headgasket.you will still be around 265ish psi..use what you have

if you want your compression up, mill the head for the difference in the gasket thickness.

Whats the est. compression on the pistons combo on ur setup? I would def get rid of the cometic gasket and go for a oem Honda gasket and it'll work up to 82mm with no problems. If you have 89mm stroke your compression caclulator is gonna be higher like for a ls/vtec setup w b18c1 head.

To get a beter compression i would go with higher cams don't mill the head,if his got itr cams he should be around 245psi that's the exact same setup i change to after i had my dyno run b4. Had buddyclub 4s and was at 265.
