ya i know i wish i woulda had a gsr head but my head is already done & assembled, but ill prolly get a thinner head gasket since a 81mm will work for my 82mm bore.

chris- im pretty sure ima run skunk2 pro2's or 3's. either or not sure yet.

My setup -
82mm gsr w/pr3's & ls crank
B16 head 3 angle valve job, mild p&p,over sized flat top valves. fully built.
Skunk2 pro2's or 3's.

thanks dave...Well shit im just gonna keep the gasket i have then cause its already sitting in my room lol.

When i use that zealAutowerks compression calculator it says my gasket 0.8mm will actully make it a tad higher than a oem 0.026 inches

Use oem or cometic head gaskets. If you using quality parts in your build, use quality gaskets.

changing cams will not change the compression ratio. you may get higher cylinder pressures due to cams having different overlaps but it will not increase your physical compression ratio, there is a difference. the only way to increase compression ratio is to decrease combustion chamber volume. putting bigger cams in a motor that doesn't have a high enough compression ratio is the exact opposite of what you need to do.
