Input shaft noise, but a head scratcher

Integra does Excellent work.
I have a sticky note taped to my monitor that say's "never buy a transmission from any site that has Racing in the title" Now if you can test drive it in a car you might be OK....

Any chance you can prove you have that sticky note? haha, you're absolutely right, and it was also a very big concern, is buying more of a money dump than mine is currently.

haha yea a lot of people seem to get stiffed on TR but hey that's what happens when you take the chances on buying somthing used from a private seller
+1 on the EX tranny.one of the best d series tranny's imo and if im not mistaken is the same as an SI

this noise is very, very common is sohc hydro trannys........bearings are cheap...and dont forget the seal either(sometimes it might tear when you pull shft from trans)....

Yes, I think you're right about the Si. And they are the strongest stock D series with the best gear ratio. Anything else would be a downgrade. haha.

I figured the throw out bearing noise is common, just do to the amount of high mileage trannys nowadays. But I didn't know mine was my input shaft bearing!

I'm supposed to be getting one for $130 bucks tomorrow from a friend of a friend. So at least I know him enough to trust him. If all else fails, I'll definitely let you know. Thank you.
