Default LS/VTEC HELP

I have a problem last week I bought a b18c block which I thought was in good condition. I then went out and bought all the internals to make this block handle some good power forged rods, forged pistons you name it I bought it. Only to find out that the block that I bought was no good there were pits in the second cylinder now I am stuck trying to find a block. I have at my access a few B18A's. I was wondering how hard is it to do the ls vtec, will my gsr rods fit the ls crank or should I just use back my GSR crank and put my forged internals in the ls block. I am confused and I think I am going to loose it.

Default ls/vtec

get a block girdle and you shall be fine putting you gsr crank in an ls will defeat the whole purpose of lsvtec and all you will get is a weaker wanna be gsr just use you gsr oil oan and buy a z-10 block girdle and get some hi comp pistons and better rods

This thread is not the place for your two bullshit little arguments and they have been deleted. Don't do it again.

...and no, don't use a GSR crank in the LS, you'll just lose the displacment that justified the block in the first place.
I don't see how there's really anyway that you're not going to end up having to spend some extra money. If a slight overbore will resolve the pitting (slight) the pistons will have to reflect this change, if you go the LS/Vtec route, new rods are in order.

Post away but keep the name calling out of it and you'll be fine. For instance, "I would not follow TegPenis's information due to it being blatantly wrong," would be a fine way of putting it.
