Default Car won't start...

Went out to start my car today to go to work... wouldn't start... as I'm turning the key, the motor is trying to turn over but won't and as I’m trying to start it's backfiring like crazy~! For the past 2-3 weeks it's been throwing a code 43 which is a problem with he fuel supply system or o2 sensor... and before I could start the car right up and it drove great until the motor would warm up, then the check engine light would come on and the car would start to hesitate, back fire... just run like shit.. I did manage to get it started today for a little bit, it idled ok but when I put it in gear to move it, the car died.. Also, when it was in neutral it would back fire like crazy if I touched the throttle.. My new o2 sensor is on order and is supposed to be here tomorrow morning ... ordered one earlier, took a week to get and it was the wrong one, was an o2 for a 2.0 si prelude not the 2.3L si... but anyway, I checked the spark plugs which are 2-3 weeks old and they are black ... so I put new ones in... Still no luck starting the car.. So if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to let me know. Anything I can check or whatever. Thanks! Reply here or hit me up on AIM: Miiiiiikkkee. Thanks to any/all who help~!

car is throwing code: 41 which is a mafunction in the o2 wire according to my helms manual. I get a new o2 wire tomorrow morning, so hopefully that will fix the problem.

Well I just changed the o2 sensor, reset the ECU and tried to start the car... same shit.. it backfired as I'm trying to start.. I checked and the car is getting spark, the fuel pressure gauge goes up to the normal 40psi when I try to start.. Anyone know? I just pulled the battery out to charge it up, but I don't know what else it would be? Please help!!

Secret Services recently installed adjustable cam gears, this was about 3 weeks ago.. They set the timing and all... seemed fine when it was at the shop, it hasn't been touched since. Since the new o2 sensor has been installed, the car doesn't backfire when i try to start it anymore, it almost starts and then everything shuts off, my friend is gonna come over and were gonna see if we can jump start the car... maybe from trying to start the car soo much the battery just doesn't have enough juice left.. I donno... I'm willing to try anything...

well, we just did a compression test on the motor... #1 cylinder was at around 60, #2 was a little over 100, #3 was at 50 and #4 was at 120. The spark plugs in the motor are 2 days old, the #4 plug looked brand new, the #3 plug has oil all over it and was pitch black as was the #1 plug, the #2 plug wasn't too bad.. I didn't drive on these plugs, just tried starting the motor... we removed the valve cover and there aren't any broken springs or retainers, so were guessing it's a valve or valve seal.. won't know until we take off the head, which is going to suck.. but, I was just wondering what everyone though... any help is greatly appreciated~!

I had the same problem a couple of days ago minus the oil on the plugs. Switched coil and it's been fine. What you have to do after switching the coil is crank it at wot until it starts. I kept on cranking my motor for about 30 seconds (poor starter). Reason for the long cranking is because the cylinders needs to build compression. I kind of get it but if someone could explain it then it'd be great.
