Default need help with my 1991 dx hatch asap! please!!

ok, so i have a 1991 civic hatch, dx, that ive done auto to 5 speed swap, and dpfi to mpfi swap to
im having a problem, with the fuel i believe

ok, so i got the mpfi wired up, the car worked, but was sluggish, and hesitated, then just got worse, eventually, burned up a sparkplug wire, number 3, and then after i changed that, it ran, then burnt another one, and wouldnt start (i drove it around for like 30 minutes), this time it burnt #2, so i figured maybe my wires were weak, so i bought some duralast ones, the high heat whatevers, and new sparkplugs, ngk platinums, then it started up, and rev'd fine for like 30 seconds, then as i got in the car, tried to drive off, it died, wouldnt start back up, finally, it did, and it would bog down and die when i gave it gas, so we decided it was the dizzy that had went bad, so i bought another one, then it cranked up fine, and rev'd fine, and yet again, when i tried to drive off as soon as id let off the gas this time, it would die, now its doing that same thing, so i thought it may be my fuel filter, changed that out, still does the same thing, so im thinking its my fuel pump, and when i listen for it, it doesnt prime, so i replaced the fuel pump, tested it, it primed, put it back in the tank, and it stopped priming, ive taken it out, and checked both positive and negative wires, theyre on properly, yet it still wont prime
car still starts however, i just have to give it gas when i crank it over, and then i have to hold the gas in, otherwise it dies, ive tried readjusting the throttle cable, just incase, but that does nothing, ive advanced, and retarded the dizzy, that doesnt do much either

i have no idea what the problem is, my buddy says i could have a vaccuum leak, another says thier could be a bad ground? and yet anotherr says that i just need to clean out my injectors

i need help, this is my dd, and it seems everytime i pay for insurance, it does this crap, so i never have a running car, after making a near $400 down payment

someone has to have had this problem before, or just be smart enough to know whats wrong

PLEASE help me get this thing driveable

Main relay is behind the change box, straight up from the hood release. Take the change box out, and there's a bolt that holds it to the body. Pain in the ass to get to. take it out, pop it out of it's case, and re-solder all the joints.

When you switch the ignition to on does the check engine light come on then go off after a few seconds? If so then it's the main relay. They're about 60 bucks, if you've got money to blow buy a new one.
