A buddy of mine has a 99 Accord coupe 3.0 V6 (J30A1) and his stock motor took a shit so hes getting another one. So were trying to see if anyone can help with installing it or if anyone can at least point me in the right direction of a reputable shop that can. Hes not trying to take it to the dealer and end up owing them an arm and a leg.

Any help is much appreciated.

 

i have a cherry picker but not a place to do it. for the right price i can do it. and is he getting the same exact motor? not tryin to swap out to another motor beside the j30a1. putting the same motor in is simple cuz it just plugs right up. and ur ready to go.

 

Yeah he is buying another J30A1. PM me with a price in mind if you want, we still need somewhere to do it though, not sure what we can do about that.

how much $$ would you feel comfortably paying for the job
