B20 vtec w/ a bottle ?
Honda makes their engines to last, so they slightly overengineer engines.
Low Compression DOES NOT mean you can boost the hell out of an engine.
It just leaves more room for error and you can run a bit more boost.
That's all.
The sleeves ARE NOT why you can't rev the motor high.
It's the rods/bolts and the engine geometry. The engine stops making power at one point, and it does not need to spin (much) beyond that. They didn't build a 2.0L B16, so to cut costs, they found no reason to make it spin any higher.
The sleeves aren't necessarily weak. They are a different design from other Honda sleeves, and slightly thinner, but with good tuning you should be fine for a good amount of power. Almost every other honda motor neads work after a certain amount of power anyways.
IMO, you either run a dry shot of nitrous, or you go Direct Port. Wet or Dry, it's your choice on DP. But a wet 100 shot doesn't sound like a great idea.
Wet nitrous shots are horrible. Get it tuned with a dry setup and bigger injectors and dual map sensors. Let the computer adjust fuel levels don't try and guess with a pill size.
The sleeves are the same as a b18b1/a1 sleeve design. It is basically just a bored out b18 block so yes the sleeves are weaker but they can still handle 300whp fine. TUNE DEPENDANT!!! can't stress that enough.
