I disagree.

No matter how high flow the cat is, it will cause a restriction. Add a STOCK chambered muffler and that will make it even worse.

We have done MANY exhaust test on the dyno. The more resonators/mufflers in line the more it will restrict flow. Granted you will get the lower tone/less raspyness but again, you will lose performance.

OP: Id suggest 1 or 2 vibrant/magnaflow resonators, use your Apexi muffler, 2.5" SS piping.

Rang what is wrong with a S2000 muffler...I bet internally it is close to the same design as an ep3 muffler and it still flows well enough to produce more HP than the ep3 does. S2000's throw down higher numbers than an ep3 on the dyno and are proven over and over that exhaust swaps don't really net anymore power. Therefor, the stock muffler can't be too bad...it is enough for 200whp out of a 2.0L.

No nothing against the muffler it just does not look and fit as nice as the ep3 and the ep3 has the 2 open tube so is just as free flowing..you can have quite and power at the same time if you read up and find what works that's why I have the combo I have and still am happy with my power

I dunno sir...my s2k muffler fits my teg fairly well...but I can't bash since I've never used an ep3 muffler.
