H22 thick gasket timing belt not fitting

^The h23 tensioner takes the place of the balance shaft pulley off the h22 so the shafts can be deleted. It might be slightly bigger considering the tight fit but I wouldnt know because I got the motor already with the tensioner on it.

lemme clear this up. The H23 tensioner is causing the tight fit as stated already.

Its hard enough to get a timing belt on there with a stock gasket. Im gonna talk to a few people and see if there is an alternative belt with slightly more slack.

^The only other belt that'll fit H22 is the F22B belt it has 156 teeth as the H22 has 155 but its damn near impossible to find. After modding the tensioner we got it to fit without touching the balance shaft delete plate.

i actually just did the same tensioner swap it was a bitch
it has nothing to do with the headgasket the h22 will fit just gotta use elbow grease i just got it on today and tensioner was a little to tight i had a small wine but nothing a small tensioner adjustment cant do good luck

^Bitch is not even the word that shit was a hemroid lol...but yea I got mine on too I modded the tensioner a bit which made it only a little easier to get on but it was still a hassle. No whining no nothing. motor is so damn quite.
