Holy shit 17's on a EF! Yeah you could probably still slam it but your most likely going to need a true coilover and not a sleeve coilover setup.

Drop it first then choose rims that fit.

The biggest heartbreak is when a guy brings over his car to be lowered
and the rims he just spent his hard earned money for, are too big to drop the car.

I have pretty much solved the negative camber problem for most cars
so that is no longer a problem.

But when a rim is too tall or too wide to fit in a lowered wheelwell,
that is not an easily solved problem.-Bob

So I'm curious how you are doing this, I don't want to know about the rear that's simple I'm more interested in how you would take care of the front.

It varies from car to car and suspension design to design.
I have to see the car and take some careful measurements.

Sometimes buy aftermarket pieces, sometimes I build something.
Every challenge can be solved, and some are easier than others.-Bob

Oh I was talking about the ef chassis, and I know aftermarket is an option, I thought you meant you had a DIY for camber issues and was just wondering how that would be done, I have went down the modifying factory components road before and didn't like the outcome at all.

Oh OP I wasn't trying to threadjack but I really think you should do a little research on what you want and, do it right the first time. The end result will be much better.

No problem. I do understand.
Other people have told me that I have re-engineered things when they themselves, had little success.

I'm sincerely greatful that God blesses me with being able to measure things precisely and understand how a particular suspension works.

Example: As a car is lowered, most upper control arms angle upward
at the wheel and that puts the upper ball joint at a sharp angle
and it sometimes binds or wears excessively....but not in my case.

On my car, and those I have re-engineered, the upper ball joints are verticle when the upper control arms are angled upward about 3". -Bob
