same here I have use a few felpro,they work just fine. people say that they are week but I'd rather have my head gasket blow then something else.

i havent had any problems with cometic really i have used then one a few of my builds and i have also used oem hinda gaskets and they seem to work real well but the one that works the best for me was the titan sce copper head gasket you have to get you head o ringed but you will never blow a head gasket again...

I believe the stock sized Cometic would work but the 3mm just wasnt holding up on my setup both block and head are re-surfaced held up fine for about 100 miles then started seaping oil all around, checked torque all were still at spec.
