a/c on, car bogs... weird!
^thats what im gonna do. Tomorrow Ill have force myself to not be lazy and fix the things on my car so I like driving it again. I
putting in my lightweight flywheel caused the car to bog down w/ ac on. im able to deal w/ it as i dont use the a/c much. and im def not pulling the a/c out the car. if your problem is due to the fact that you lightened your rotating mass you could always invest in a tuning program that has idle a/c recovery
^good info, but im using an oem flywheel. Is it possible the belts too tight? Can I adjust the tensioner?
thanks for all the replies:
Like most said, its more of an annoyance than an issue. Like yesterday, was so hot i used the a/c when i drove. Not bogged once! WTF! so it's really an on and off issue.
Yes the idle changes for a sec when i turn the a/c on or off, but overall it remains about 900-1k rpms, when a/c on, & 800-900 when a/c off.
It could be the iacv valve and that's an easy cleaning... Might do that on saturday when i'm working on the head.
SuburbanNoize, let me know what u did and if you notice a difference!
and no, i aint sacrificing the a/c just because of that. I like my comfort, and the chicks i hang out with, well, let's just say they have "higher standards"... LOL
and Vance its a stock flywheel...
