Default When give gas, rpms drop...

Hey peeps. So i got a hone, new rings and all, all new spark shit. cars still misfirring.

timing is fine. But now when i give it gas the rpms drop while missfiring.

text me please 813-220-3061

Im about to buy a damn geo lol Well my car was throwing a 15 ignition sensor. i took off battery and connected it again and n ow i have no cel lights. Everything that has to do with spark is new. new plugs, wires, rotor and cap. I even swapped my dizzy with a brothers and same thing.

my dizzy right now seemed to run the best with it all the to the left. the screw is all the way to the right. ive tried movin it while car is on and seemed to run better and smoother like that. now if i give the car a little gas it revs fine. when i give it a little bit more it sounds like im bouncing at a red line and rpms actually go down a little. and how could vavles not be opening?

ANOTHER thing is the car perfect and then started to backfire and miss a little in low rpms, then it would go away. then it came back a little worse and went away. now its back and misses and feels like there is absolutely no power all the time. compression came up 220 in all 4 cylinders.

Im lost...

any CEL's?
could be
-valve(s) not opening
-dizzy needs to be advanced
-broken rotor/cap in the dizzy
-bad plug
-bad plug wire
-bad tps

and if you have a dead cylinder, the motor will fall flat on it's face when you rev it.

if the dizzy is turned all the way towards the firewall then it's retarded all the way, if you have to do that then mechanical timing is off. are they stock cams? even if they're aftermarket you'll have to advance it a little to run smooth if mechanical timing is perfect.

yea. i mean it ran perfect before with it a little towards the firewal. but after it idlein and me playing with it, it seemed to run a little smoother with it all the way... and my timing is on cue. i put c1 tdc and then line up the gears and it always done me good.
