putting pistons into my h22

what do i have to do to put forged pistons in my h22...
do i need to sleeve the block or can the piston go into the stock block?

cylinder hone possibly a slight bore if cylinders are deeply scarred sleeving not necessary.

the block does need to be resleeved with iron sleeves or your youll get scaring on the cylinder walls the H engines dont use iron sleeves like the Bs

H22 = closed deck use youre money elsewhere.

you must sleeve an h22a to run aftermarket pistions due to the lining on the cylinder walls.

...Ive heard the same thing and theres no definative answer.
It would be interesting to see some cold hard facts on the matter if anyone has experience on it. My thoughts would be since the 97+ blocks have a semi-exotic liner and are supposedly very susceptible to piston expansion/contraction the simple path would be to source a quality forged piston with a high silicon content.
