lazy j is right I build lsvtecs with some frequency & I build them right and to fully machine and rebuild the block your looking at about $500(bearings head gasket rings hone cylinders deck block) add the price of a full b16 swap $1200 shipped and another couple hundred in misc parts (axles linkage ss line fittingsetc.) and installation costs which can bring you pretty high close to $3000. Also add the price of swapping the ls pistons off the ls rods and b16 pistons on new oil and water pumps(if you want) plugging the oil passage in the head relocating the dowels so the head meets up correctly. Also dependant on year and model vehicle it is going into expect a few more extra parts out of the blue.....but in the end you will have a $3000 motor that will out perform any gsr or a2 with comparable mods......I will talk to you about it tonight......
